Easter Blessings to You, my Friends!

Hope indeed springs eternal. I have studied the “afterlife” beliefs of various cultures and religions throughout history and without a shadow of a doubt all mankind from the beginning of time to the present has believed in some form of higher power, developed a religion, and hoped that there was more to their existence than the short mist of this lifetime.

Praise be to the one true God, the maker of heaven and earth that He would reveal Himself to us; first through the magnificence and complexity of creation itself, then through the prophets and angels. Those things were but shadows of His wonderful plan for the mankind the crown jewel of creation. In the fulness of time (Galatians 4:4) God sent His only begotten Son (John 3:16) to be the final word, to be the light that would clarify every shadow and type of the old testament (John 1:1-5 & 9-10). Jesus would be “the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being,” (Hebrews 1:1-3)

He came for many reasons-first and foremost to glorify the Father. One way was to reveal him clearly. There was no longer any need for mankind to ponder the higher power they instinctively knew existed or to make perverted religions that worshiped the creation rather than the creator.(Romans 1:20-23) He would continue to glorify the Father by reconciling the lost “crown Jewels”- Gods prodigal children back into full fellowship with their creator. He also came to give hope to those He reconciled.

Reconciliation was achieved by His work on the cross. Three days later, hope was given with ASSURANCE when Jesus overcame the last enemy, death, by rising from the grave to seal the promise that He would raise us as well! Now, faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 1:1)

Hallelujah He is risen! Hallelujah He will raise us as well!

And there will no longer be any sickness, death, sorrow, pain, or tears! (Revelation 21:4)

And God will be with us forever! (Revelation 21:3)

Happy Easter! May God Richly Bless and Keep you!
